ALTERING MOMENTS

By: Annika Emerick

TEN CHRISTOPHER
COLUMBUS
1492~1506
I think Christopher Columbus was important
because he was trying to get to Indonesia without
having to pay. He was trying to sail across the world
to get there and he ended up in Central America. He
was pretty dumb but he was obviously important.

NINE AZTECS
1200 AD
Aztecs were important because they were really
smart and they defeated a lot of armies with just 600
soldiers and 4 ships. They defeated them with steel
swords, dogs, horses, cannons, and guns.

EIGHT HAMMURABI CODE

1700 BCE
Hammurabis code was important because they were
one of the first written laws in record history.

SEVEN RENAISSANCE
After the dark ages the renaissance or rebirth
started. It was important because it brought back art,
writing, and if it wasnt for the Renaissance we
wouldnt have very many books because thats when
the Printing Press was made.

SIX THE DARK AGES

475 CE ~ 1200 CE
The dark ages were important because it was not a
good time. People got infected with the Black Death
and only rich could go to school.

FIVE THE SILK ROAD

The silk road was from 206 B.C. to 1450 A.D
I think the silk road was important because it was a
trade route that helped people connect ideas. It was
a very large route and is 4000 miles long and people
wouldnt just trade ideas they would trade silk,
spices, etc. but they most of all traded ideas.

FOUR THE BLACK DEATH

The Black Death was from 1348~1350
I think the Black Death was important because it
killed over 4 million people. You could get the
disease from a flea because when it bit you it puked
out the Black Plagues bacteria.

THREE SMALL POX

Small pox were during 1150 BCE
I think smallpox was important because it killed a lot
of the population and it was a very disgusting and
contagious disease. It made your skin have white
blisters all over it.

TWO THE PRINTING PRESS

During the Renaissance the printing press was
created. I think it was important because before it
there was only around 1,000 books but then the
printing press was invented.

ONE NEOLITHIC
REVOLUTION
10,000 BC~ 3,000 BC
I think the Neolithic Revolution was important
because it was part of the change in the world from
hunting and gathering to animal domestication and
farming.
