Dear Parent/Carer,
I am writing to let you know that two or three children have suffered from an outbreak of Threadworm over
the last couple of weeks. This is not uncommon but can be very unpleasant and distressing for the families
affected.
It is essential that children remember to wash their hands thoroughly throughout the day, especially after
using the toilet and we will be encouraging and reminding them even more than we normally do. I would
be very grateful if you would do the same and perhaps spend a minute or two showing them and reminding
them about how to do this well.
