SPRING TEA Job Description

Think of this as a big party in which it takes some planning all year.

Reserve a location for the tea.

Ask the new Board about date preferences in conjunction with the VP
Programs

2. Find a few committee members to form the tea committee or ask the
nomination committee to get volunteers.
3. Before tea:
a. Meet and decide on the form of the tea, which can vary pending on what
the location has to offer. In the past we have had:
Hat contest and suggested categories for prizes
Games
General Prizes
Table decorations
Place cards/favors
Fashion Show
b. Plan for what you have selected and allocate the budget, which has been
about TBD.
c. Decide who will does each job, including:
Purchasing prizes and other items
Assemble any items/ wrap prizes
Place a save the date notice in the December Newsletter
Place large notices in the January, February and March Newsletter by
the luncheon deadline
Plan to make a verbal notice at the January and February luncheons.
Meet with the Venue (or coordinate with VP Luncheons) and decide on
the menu in January. Ask for a microphone and sign in table.
