2015 Wicked Kills

VolleyBoo Tournament
The Wicked Kills VolleyBoo Tournament will be held this year on Saturday Oct. 10th, 2015 at
Nitro High School. It will be an 8 Team Varsity Tournament.
Tournament Fee $150.00
(Tournament fee will be $125 if received by mail before September 10th, 2015.)

Gyms and camping areas will open at 8:00am with pool play beginning at 9:00am.
Pool and Bracket Play Format
1) 2 Pools, 4 Teams in each Pool
2) Pool Play to decide Bracket Play
Each Pool will have 4 teams, 2 teams playing, 1 team will line judge (Parent Line Judge), 1 team
rests, (Rotation)
For 1 pool of 4 teams, the best of 3 sets will win matches. Regular 25 point with a minimum 2point advantage applies. If deciding set, 15 point with minimum 2-point advantage applies,
change sides when a team reaches 8 points.
3) All Teams advance to single elimination bracket play. Bracket ranking will be determined by
pool play finish. (This give each team at least a Quad)
Since all teams advance to the bracket play, Seeding will be based on (1) Sets won/lost, (2) Head
to Head Record, (3) Least Number of points scored against, (4) Coin Toss.
To set bracket positions (2 brackets): Gold Bracket= teams placing 1-4, Silver Bracket=teams
placing 5-8
Coaches vote for an 8 member All Tournament Team; these will be awarded right before Bracket
Play begins.
There will be a 1st place trophy giving to the winner of the Gold Bracket and a award for the winner
of the silver bracket, directly following championship match
Additional Tournament Information
Concessions stand will be open for all in Attendants.
Team camping/eating areas will be available in the multi-purpose areas (Only lidded drinks
allowed at the bench area)
Coach and Referee Hospitality Rooms will be available
Tournament T-shirts will be on sale
