Literacy Inquiry:
We are going to be practicing with the
formation of letter G , making a gorilla
craft, decorating our letter G with glitter,
and many more fun activities. We will
continue reviewing all the blue sight
words and start the red sight words by
introducing the word are.
Math Inquiry :
We will continue exploring 3
dimensional shapes by having an edible
activity where we will sort 2D and 3D
shapes.
Unit of Inquiry :
Central Idea: The interdependence of
insects and other living things impact our
environment.
This week we will be sorting out what is
an insect and what is not an insect.

Home Connection
Encourage your child to go on "Shape Hunting Walks." This can be easily done on the way to the supermarket
or playground. Also be an investigator and look for insects outside while they are playing and if possible take a
picture of an insect they have discovered to share with the class. Have a great week learning.
