1. Students need to follow the ‘Polish it Up!’ process to complete this task.
A checklist has been provided for students to follow.
To enable student to follow the entire process, an existing written
piece cannot be used.
2. Lead a discussion in class about the 4 styles of writing –
Letter
Issue / opinionative
Narrative
Personal / reflective.
3. Students write a piece on loose leaf (so the drafts can be included when
submitted).
4. Students then follow the ‘Polish it Up!’ process on the worksheet to
complete the task.
5. The reflective piece is to be completed during the lesson prior to
submission.
6. Remind students of the ‘Very Important!’ section prior to submitting
through Learning Assessment to check all components are included.
