Assignment 2 Animal Farm Composition
Personification is the act of giving human characteristics, such as voice, to non-human
objects or living things. Some examples of personification in Animal Farm are the animals
ability to think, feel, and speak like humans do. Such as their ability to convene in the barn to
discuss problems they have in the farm. Personification is essential in this story because it is told
from the animals point of view, without being able to understand them talking the story would
be pointless.
