ABSTRACT

With all the emerging technologies today, poultry industry in the Philippines remains
manually operated starting from feeding and watering, ventilation management, temperature
control and responses to weather condition. Manual operation, more often than not, sacrifices
high production rate and efficient management which has become one of the major issues
concerning the countrys poultry industry.
This project aims to relieve the poultry farm operators from the burden of managing the
farms manually and increasing the production rate and the efficacy of management of the farms.
Automated Poultry Management and Information System includes automatic ventilation system,
automatic temperature control system, automatic wind breakers, automatic lighting system,
automatic watering and feeding system and a cloud based information system which enables
the poultry farm operators to monitor the poultry farms from afar. The cloud based information
system may be accessed through a mobile phone with wireless or data connection.
