This week we are learning:


Circle Time Review
We will continue to review locations,
transport and occupations all together
this week. We will draw a big map on the
board and label all the parts in the city
(school, market, shops, hospital, part,
etc.). Then we will talk about the different
types of transport that are in the city.
(What do firemen use?, How do you
come to school?, ) After we will talk
about who works where in the city. (A
Doctor works at the hospital, I farmer
works on the farm, etc.)

Phonics

Activity Time
This week we will learn about verbs and practice speaking using I can and I cant . So that
students will be able to use the verbs more in everyday life in the classroom.
Verbs: jump, run, hide, cook, stretch, climb, climb, swim, fly, walk, ski, stop
Activities:
Use songs to practice the vocabulary and grammar structure
Use flashcard to play games
Match animals to things that they can do i.e. birds can fly, fish can swim and lions
can run
Practice writing I can and I cant using worksheets
Let students take turns talking about things that they can and cant do by been prompted
by the teacher.

Last week we did a lot of review and were unable to finish our workbook, so we will finish our
workbooks at the beginning of this week and then switch over to review.

This week we will continue to practice

your, your, run.
