Dear Brother:
Greetings of peace and prosperity for the year 2015 onwards!
January 9, 2015 will be the 26th year of Jesus Nazareno Celebration at the Holy Cross
Parish in Tabuco St. Naga City coinciding with the same commemoration in Quiapo,
Metro Manila.
The said festivity will have a 9-day novenario followed by a daily Eucharistic Mass
which would transpire from 2:00pm to 5:30pm starting on January 1, 2015 until the
feast day of Jesus Nazareno on January 9. On the ninth day of the novenario, a
concelebrated mass will be held led by Archbishop TIRONA around 5:30pm and then
be highlighted by the procession of the sacred image of the Black Nazarene which
will commence at 6:30 in the afternoon in the downtown area, covering the major
streets of Naga.
The entire activity entails a lot of time, effort and a great deal of generosity. For the
past years, the association was able to independently sponsor such large gathering;
however, due to influx of devotees and guests, the association is faced with
financial restraints hence, more time, effort and generosity are required. With this,
we would like to appeal to your utmost extension of help in whatever way you
possibly can, to be able to meet the occasions various needs such as:floral
decoration of the church and the andas, food preparation, stipends, sound system,
bands, projectors, loud speakers, banderitas, streamers,tarpaulins, etc. to make the
occasion a success.
The association would most gladly be accepting any form of aid that you can give in
the spirit of love, generosity and devotion.
May Jesus Nazareno and Our Lady of peace and Good Voyage guide, protect and
bless you and your family in all your endeavors. Happy New Year and Happy Fiesta!
