Opening of the Holy Door with Mass (June 23, 2019, 9:30AM)

Activity Responsibility
A. Before Commencement of the Rites of Blessing
1. Ushers to stand at church entrances to direct church goers MBG and COY
for the 9:30AM Mass to gather at a designated area near the
Holy Door.
2. Short announcement before end of 8AM Mass that all the Priest presider
entrances will be closed.
3. After 8AM mass, close all entrances leading to the Church Vovos and team
4. VIP Choir to take its place at the choir area, and remain silent Bettina/Anya
until the start of the celebrations.

B. During Commencement of the Rites of Blessing

1. Gathering Song VIP Choir
a. All doors remain closed during the Rite of Blessing Vovos team
b. No one allowed to pass through doors leading to sacristy
and vestry except those authorized
2. Reading of the Decree Anthony Quitain
3. Greeting and Prayer of Blessing of the Holy Door Bishop
4. Symbolic knock and opening the Holy Door; blessing with Bishop
holy water, and incensing
5. Bishop invites the faithful gathered, and leads into the Holy
Door
a. Ushering in orderly procession MBG/COY
6. Entrance song to be sung continuously for the duration of the
procession, the incensing of the altar and JDH image, until VIP Choir
the Bishop reaches his presidential chair
a. All side entrances and the Main entrance are opened Vovos team
ONLY when the Bishop intones the Gloria.

C. Holy Sacrifice of the Mass (Liturgy of Corpus Christi)

1. The Parish Priest proclaims the Jubilee Year of JDHP Parish Priest
2. Gloria is intoned, and is sung Bishop
3. Opening Prayer, and the Mass continues in the usual Bishop
manner.
4. After the Post Communion Prayer, mass announcements are Commentator
read
5. Recitation of the JDH Prayer, after which a short message of Parish Priest
thanks and acknowledgment
6. Final blessing Bishop
7. JDH Theme Song during Recessional VIP Choir
