The meeting started at 10.30AM with a hymn no.20,then after the hymn opening prayer was
conducted by L/R Godfrey Amaumo

Devotion
The book of 2 peter 1:3-8 was read by V/W Isaac Otundo .He preached from the scripture
about the qualities of Gods servant
Role call(introduction)
The vicar welcomed the secretary to carry out introduction .After members learned that all
churches and department were represented except one member who represents evangelists
OPENING REMARKS
The vicar welcomed members to the meeting and thanked them for coming .He then called
the meeting to order because the quorum was enough
MIN.2/22/8/2022:RECRUITMENT OF ORDAINED MINISTRY
Members received application of four candidates from various churches as per their minutes
The applicant were as follows :
1.L/R.Lilian Flora Mapesa of st Marys
2.Mr.Evans Kombo of st Theresa
3.L/RMourice Ondiechi Odongo of st Theresa
4.Mrs.Leah khakhuli Oketch of st mary
Therefore parish council members decided to interview them on the following qualifications
a) Basic information including full names
b) Marital status
c) Education
d) Anglicanism
e) Support document
f) General knowledge about Christianity
g) After the interview and thorough assessment having been done, members
realized that two candidates merited for the position.
a. L/R Lilia Florah Mapesa
b. L/R Maurice Odongo Ondiechi
h) Therefore members agreed the Deanery to consider them. Members also
advised the two who didn’t merit continuieng serving the Lord as they wait for
their chance to come because God has his own time to do things.

i) Members promised them their prayers as they vouch a head to their success.
j) Being their no other business, the meeting ended at 4.06pm.
k) Closing prayer was said by Rev.Omanyo.
