MIN NO: 0051/2022 PRELIMINARIES
The meeting started at 8:45 am with a word of prayer by Agnes Njoroge.
There after a short praise and worship by Agnes Njoroge
Devotion by Elder Florence Mwangi from the book of Ezekiel 33:1-7; we are chosen by
God and God has made us watchmen in the house of God. Let us not grow weary to the
work of God.

MINUTES NO: 0052 / 2022 READING OF PREVIOUS MINUTES


The secretary Peter Karimi, read the precious minutes:

MINUTES NO: 0053 / 2022 MATTERS ARISING


The following matters arose from the previous minutes:
AGM
Mary Wanjiru commented that AGM was good. Felista Njenga commented that the day
was good but time was short so we need more time. Joseph Maina commented that AGM
was good and food was okay.

CHURCH SACCO
Mr. Charles Ndungu reported that coming Sunday there will be a meeting. There will be
government officer who will talk to the members about Sacco on 8 th Sunday. They were
given greenlight to prepare the name of committee members.
They urged LCC to facilitate with the funds needed.
Elder Mugera urged that it will be good on 8th Sunday to create time for facilitation.

CHURCH PLOT
Elder Ndegwa reported that the plot at Nyahururu is 2.5 kilometer from Nyahururu
Town, but once they get the actual price they will go ahead and advertise in Church.
Plot at Kamuru Elder Kiarie reported that are about to meet the owner to sort the
problem.
WATER / CHAIRS / TABLES
Mr. Charles Irimu Development Chair reported that the problem we had with Church
water is already solved. There is need of addition of chairs in church.
LCC Chair also added that to avoid lack of water in church there is need of a borehole.
New tables in church is a donation money 30,000/= from church member and addition of
9,640/= from LCC Office for the repair of Alter table.

CHRECHE
The church school patron reported that they have done a temporally Chreche outside the
church as the LCC plan a space in church

UNFINISHED WORK HALL


Development chair reported that its already done.

THANKSGIVING SUNDAY
Elder Alice Mbugua commented that its good what is done in second service to be done
in first service.
Elder Kiarie also commented that thanksgiving Sunday day to be announced early to give
members of the church time to plan themselves.

MIN NO: 0054 / 2022 UGOOCI GROUP LEADERS / DEACONS SEMINAR


Elder Mugera reported that there is a seminar being prepared by strategic plan office on
28/05/2022. All members seminar will be on July 2022 in UGOOCI Church.

MIN NO: 0055 / 2022 ELDER MUGERA RETIREMENT


The LCC elected a committee chaired by Woman’s guild Chair:

5. Elder Fredrick Ngure
6. Ann Muthama
Woman’s guild is the one in charge of breakfast on that day.
It was also noted that its good to have more to serving point to allow smooth serving of
food.
Addition of more guards on that day is needed because of parking and to extend parking
at Mr. Githinji area.

MIN NO: 0056 / 2022 AUDIT COMMITTEE


Elder Alice Mbugua reported that groups are not surrendering documents at Mukarara as
announced and that she urged all groups to take all records at Mukarara office for Audit
well documented.
The LCC Chairperson reported that the LCC has identified a place in the vestry A where
he can keep groups document

MIN NO: 0057 / 2022 DEVELOPMENT


Elder Mugera reported that after LCC decided to shelf the idea of building rental. It is
good to council the previous minuted part of document, with the minute that we put
perimeter wall instead and also to seek permission from the session to demolish the aid
sanctuary.
Development chair also said its good to do over whole of ablution (Washroom)

FELLOWSHIP
Their monthly and weekly fellowship is on going well. The turnouts are good and they
thank God. Members are learning more about God especially in prayers and reading the
word of God.

WORD DAY OF PRAYER


It was observed on 4th March 2022 on Thursday it was successful and they thank God.

GIRL MENTORSHIP PROGRAM AT NGONG 28th MARCH TO 2nd APRIL 2022


They thanked the girls who managed to go for they had 32 girls where 13 were from
Ugooci.
The charges was 5,000/= but they payed half of the price the rest was paid by the
woman’s guild office. It was successful and three girls gave their lives to Christ.

CELEBRATING 100 YEARS


The Woman’s guild are celebrating 100 years celebration function will be done on
29/05/2022.

GUILD WEEK
Guild members are preparing for their week which will happen in the month of June.

CHURCH CHOIR GAVE THEIR WRITTEN REPORT.


The has been a tremendous improvement since the LCC hired a reliable teacher who is
always ready to assist them.
They made a request to have the table moved from where the choir occupy and that has
already been done and they are grateful.
They thank the LCC through their patron for allowing them to lead the service.
Kindly consider the following: -
Microphone and to enable us project our voices. Elder Mugera appreciated the church
choir for a good work.
