Prophet Hud
Many years after Prophet Nuh there lived the people of
Aad. Allah blessed these people with a lot of wealth and they
lived life in peace and comfort. Allah also made them very
successful traders. He made them very strong physically and there
was no disease in their society. They built very big and beautiful
towers and houses and they were very proud of their beautiful
buildings. Allah gave them so many blessings but they still
did not worship one God. They worshipped idols that they carved out
of stone. When anything good happened they thanked their idols and
whenever they were in trouble they prayed to those idols for help.
They forgot about Prophet Nuh and his message of
worshipping one God, or Tawheed. They also forgot about the awful
punishment of Allah for worshipping false gods.

Allah Chooses Hud to be a Prophet

Among these people was a man named Hud. Hud was a very kind
man and he was respected because of his noble family and his good
manners. When he received the command of Allah to teach
His message he immediately did so. He asked the people why they
worshipped stones that they had carved themselves and he told
them that the idols can not give them anything or take anything from
them and that Allah had sent him to them. He also told them
about all the blessings Allah had given them and that they
should not do anything evil and that they should only worship Allah.

The People of Aad Reject Prophet Hud

Whatever Prophet Hud told them they just wouldnt listen.
They continued on ridiculing him. They told him that he had no
evidence and that they dont believe him. They said some other
hurtful things too. He was very sad and disappointed when he heard
this.

Prophet Hud told them that if they didnt worship Allah

, Allah would punish them. They still kept on
worshipping their false gods. They then told him that they dont care
and they challenged him to tell his Lord to send His punishment.

Allah Punishes the Disbelievers

Shortly afterwards, a huge black cloud appeared in the sky over the
people of Aad. The people of Aad thought that the cloud would
bring a lot of rain but they were wrong. It was Allah s
punishment. Prophet Hud and his followers went to a safe
place. The whole city was destroyed by the violent storm and only
Prophet Hud and his followers survived. Thats how bad
Allahs punishment can be.

Prophet Salih
Many years after the punishment of the people of Aad they were the
people of Thamood. The people of Thamood were Arab tribes. They
had beautiful gardens and they lived in houses that they carved out
of massive red rocks in the mountains. Allah made them very
skillful at carving. The people of Thamood were very arrogant and
they oppressed the poor who lived among them.

Prophet Salih
The people of Thamood moved away from tawheed and started
worshipping idols. Therefore, Allah decided to bring a prophet
to the people. This prophet was Prophet Salih . He came from
a good family and he was known for his good character. He told his
people to worship only Allah and that Allah has made
him his

prophet. The people of Thamood did not listen to him. They told him
that they were going to make him chief but know they would not. The
rich and powerful did not listen to Salih s message. However,
the wise, poor, and humble people followed him. The people who
didnt believe him told him to show proof that he was a prophet.
The Miracle of the Camel
Prophet Salih prayed to Allah to answer the request.
To prove that Salih was a prophet, Allah made a
mountain move and split. From it came a giant she-camel which was
pregnant. The camel soon gave birth. This miracle was done to prove
that Salih was a prophet. This was also a test from Allah to
see if the people would obey His orders. The camel was allowed to
drink for one day and the next day, the people of Thamood would be
able to drink. On the day the she-camel drank she would have
enough milk for all the people of Thamood. The sheep and the cattle
were both afraid of the she-camel. Some people were amazed by the
camel. These people decided to believe in Prophet Salih and

followed him. The disbelievers could not look at the she-camel and
her young. They felt hatred towards them. They began to accuse the
camel for scaring their cattle and sheep.
Thamood Kill the Camel
The people of Thamood plotted to kill the she-camel and her young.
Nine men went out at night while everyone was sleeping. They killed
the she-camel and then her young. The next day, the people could
not see the camel or her young. When Prophet Salih found
out, he got very angry. He warned them about a punishment that
would come in three days. This was a warning but instead of listening
to the warning, the same nine men decided to kill Prophet Salih
. Allah didnt let them carry their plot. While they were
going to kill Prophet Salih Allah showered rocks on
the nine men. They were the first to die. The second day came and
Phroper Salih warned them again but they ignored him. He left the
area with his family and followers. On the third day, an earthquake
shook the land and destroyed everyone and everything.

prophet younus
Prophet Younus was scared for his people because they did not
believe in Allah. He told them that if they didnt believe in Him, they
would be punished after 3 days. They laughed at him and didnt obey
him. He became really angry and left the village without asking Allah.
While he was on the ship, a storm came and it was about to sink so
people started throwing things to make the ship lighter and decided
to throw Prophet Younus. When he was in the water, a whale came
and swallowed him but did not hurt him. He should have asked
permission from Allah and so he started asking for forgiveness. Allah
made the whale spit him out on the shore but he was sick. He grew a
tree with lots of leaves and Prophet Younus ate the fruit until he felt
better. He then went back to his country. In his village, there were
strong winds and they now believed in Allah. They began to pray to
Allah to stop the punishment and forgive them. When he came back
to the village, they welcomed him and made him happy and taught

prophet lut
Prophet Lut was the nephew of Ibrahim. He was a messenger of Allah.
He was sent to the people of Sodom. The people of Sodom lied,
cheated, stole, drank, and did other shameful acts. Lut was not
related to the people of Sodom but he acted like they were his
brothers and sisters. He told them all about Allah and that they must
obey and fear him alone and that he was Allahs messenger. He told
the people to not do sins and to live within Allahs rules. Hardly
anyone believed Prophet Lut. He warned them that Allah would
punish them if they did not believe in him. He tried a lot but they did
not listen. The people challenged Lut and threatened to kick him out
of the city. They told him to bring the punishment of God to see if he
was telling the truth. Lut made dua to Allah to give him victory over
the evil people. Allah sent his angels to first visit Prophet Ibrahim and
Sarah and then come to Lut. The angels disguised themselves as

invited themselves into Luts house. Lut warned them that a

punishment would come and that they had to leave but they did not
listen. The evil people wanted to get the handsome men to join them.
Lut tried to reason with the people and prayed to Allah for help. The
angels showed Lut who they really were and they told him to leave
the city before the morning. IN the morning, a horrible punishment
would meet the people of Sodom. In the morning, Jibrael rooted the
whole village with the tip of his wing, lifted it until it reached the sky,
and then flipped it upside down. That was the punishment. Allah
then replaced the village with a useless lake that smelled really bad.
