PROPHETS

PROPHET HUD A.S

Many years ago before before a generation
there was a nation called Aad there were a
lot of hard working people in town. Allah
P.B.U.H blessed the nation with great wealth
and comfort . They had many blessings and
made them really successful traders. They
were physically strong and there were no
disagreements in the society. The people of
Aad built many beautiful houses. They
were very proud of their amazing buildings.

THE IDOLS
With all the blessings that Allah P.B.U.H granted them
The people of Aad did not believe in the only god.
Instead of worshipping Allah P.B.U.H they worshipped
idols which they carved out of stones. When something good happened to them they thanked their idols,
whenever they got in trouble they prayed to those
idols
they carved for help. The people of Aad totally forgot
about
Prophet Nuh A.S and the message about the one God.
They forgot the punishment they would get for worshpping the false idols. Along the people of Aad there
was a man named Hud. Allah P.B.U.H choose him as
the next prophet he was a part of the tribe himself.
He was the grandson of Prophet Nuh A.S He was a

PROPHET HUD STANDS UP

He was very patient and a kind man When he
received Allahs P.B.U.H message he immediately
went to the nation and said: Oh brothers why
would you worship idols that you carved
yourselves? They can not take anything away from
you or give you anything. Allah P.B.U.H sent me to
tell you this for your own wealth. He also said: He
has taught you everything that you are able to do
now. He has given you children and animals. Thats
why you should stop worshipping your hand made
idols. Worship Allah P.B.U.H only. Do not be evil and
commit wrong things. Your lord is the only one
supposed to be worshipped. He has created you
and your health, he has also made you a very
powerful nation.

THE PEOPLE OF AAD

REJECT
Prophet Hud A.S tried to explain everything
but they would reject. How Allah P.B.U.H
had them Prophet Nuhs A.S successors and
how he had given them so much strength
and power. They rejected the message and
continued ridiculing him. They said: We
are not going to listen to you. We are not
going to let you get our Gods down. Who
are you anyway to tell this? You are nothing
at all but a liar, but if you are not then
prove it. said the people of Aad.

THE PUNISHMENT
Shortly afterwards there was a huge black
cloud appeared in the sky. When the people of
Aad saw the cloud they said: This cloud is
surely going top bring us some clean rain.
But they were really wrong about that, the
clouds grew larger and larger as the wind
howled louder each time. Prophet Hud A.S
gathered his people and followers. It was full
of sand and dust. It blew violently for 8 days
straight. The people went in their beautiful
houses, but nothing would protect them from
the punishment. The wind totally swept away,
it did not stop until the whole nation got
ruined. The unbelievers were swallowed ad
destroyed. His followers were unharmed

PROPHET SALIH
Couple years before the punishment befell to
the people of Aad. Among these there was a
new nation called Thamood. The people of
Thamood were arab tribes. They lived in a place
now called Madain Salih, in Northwestern part
of Saudi Arabia. The people of Thamood had
beautiful gardens, they were blessed with
springs, date palms, and trees that had plenty
of fruit. They lived in huge houses that were
carved from huge rocks. They were very skillful
at carving. They were really arrogant. The
people of Thamood moved away from tawheed
and started to worship idols.

THE IDOLS
Therefor Allah P.B.U.H sended them a prophet,
to guide them to the right path and that
prophet was prophet Salih. He came from a
good family and was known for his character.
Worship only Allah prophet Salih told the
people. You have no other god but Allah, so
you have to be good and respect him. I am
only giving you advice . Please believe what I
say. Allah has made me his prophet. The
people of Thamood disagreed and said: Oh
Salih, we wished you to be our chief, but until
you to us to follow you god alone.

THE CAMEL
The poor people followed Salih, but the
powerful and the rich accused him for being a
liar. They said: You are nothing but a man
just like all of us, but if you are speaking the
truth you should show us proof. Prophet Salih
A.S prayed to Allah P.B.U.H to answer the
request of the people. A mountain moved and
there cam a huge she camel. The camel soon
gave birth. Allah tried to prove this miracle to
prove that Salih was a prophet. This was also
a test from Allah to see if they would obey the
rules. They did not have any excuses for
Prophet Salih not being a Prophet.

THE PLOT TO KILL

THE CAMEL
Prophet Salih told the people of Thamood
that the Camel was aloud to Drink from the
water fountain on each day appointed. The
people of Thamood were amazed by this
camel. Some of them believed Prophet Salih
and followed him. The disbelievers were
bothered by this camel. One day they plotted
to kill the she camel and her child. While the
whole town was asleep the men went to do
the job. The camel stood up when she heard
them coming but it was too late. They first
killed the she camel and then the infant.

THE PUNISHMENT
Prophet Salih was very mad at the people of
Thamood. Prophet Salih said: Enjoy
yourselves in you homes for three days. This is
not a lie. The people of Thamood plotted to
kill Prophet Salih too but Allah P.B.U.H did not
let that happen. The day they decided to kill
him Allah P.B.U.H showered rocks from the
sky. A second day passed from the warning
but the people of Thamood ignored him and
continued worshipping their idols. On the third
day there was a terrible earthquake. It
destroyed everything. Prophet Salih and his
followers were saved from the punishment.

PROPHET YOUNUS
Allah P.B.U.H chose Prophet Younes A.S to
be the next prophet. Younus A.S started
teaching the town about Islam. He called
on them to only worship Allah P.B.U.H, but
they did not listen. Prophet Younus A.S
was scared because they did not believe
in him. He warned the people that if they
did not believe in God they would be
punished after 3 days. They laughed at
him and did not obey. He became very
angry and decided to leave town. He left
without permission from Allah P.B.U.H.

THE WHALE
As Prophet Younus was on the ship, the ship was
about to sink. The people that were on board
started throwing bags and belongings off board,
but the ship was always going to sink. They
thought that the boat would sink because there
were way too many people on board, so they
decided to throw one person. They made many
draws but the name of Younes came up each
time, so they threw him off board. When he got
thrown in the water a big wave came and there
was a whale. He got swallowed. He did not get
hurt at all while he was in the stomach. He
noticed the thing he did wrong. He knew he
should have been more patient.

PROPHET LUT
Lut Ibn Ihram A.S was the nephew of
Ibraheem A.S. He was sent to be a warner to
the people of Sodom south of the Dead Sea.
They were the worst kind of people, they did
many bad deeds. They stole, lie, drink and do
many shameful things. Prophet Lut A.S was
sent to these people to show them the right
path. The people were called the people of
Lut but they were not related at all. Prophet
Lut A.S was mad at his people. He told them
that God was the only lord of the world and
they must worship and obey him.

ADVISING THE PEOPLE

TO THE RIGHT PATH
He said that they must believe in Allah
P.B.U.H . The people disobeyed him and
would not listen to him. Very few people
believed in Prophet Lut A.S. He warned the
people about Allahs P.B.U.H punishment
and anger. Even though the people knew
that they were wrong they still did not
listen. His people did not believe in no
matter what he said. They ignored his
warnings, the people said that if he did
not stop talking he would get thrown out of
the city. Instead of being ashamed of the
bad deeds they attacked the good people.

THE IGNORANT
PEOPLE
The people of Lut were very difficult to
deal with. The people of Lut did not
believe about the punishment and about
god. They kicked him out of the city.
They asked Lut A.S to show proof that he
was the messenger and show proof that
there was only one god. God was really
made at the people of Sodom for
threatening his messenger.

THE ANGELS
Angels were disguised as young
handsome men to approach to the people
of Sodom. When Lut A.S saw them he
knew they were important people. Lut did
not think that it was a good idea for them
to stay in town, because the people of
Sodom were becoming evil and eviler. He
tried to do anything to send them away.
The Angels were on a mission. The people
of Sodom heard of the handsome men,
they wanted the man to joint them with
their evil plans.

THE PUNISHMENT
The angels came to people to test the
people before their punishment. The
angels told the Prophet Lut to take his
followers and leave by morning. Rocks
fell down the sky the next day it
destroyed everything in town. There was
nothing left.
