INSTALL SMART CVS CLIENT

There are two installable for Smart CVS.

1. smartcvs-win32-setup-jre-tori_3
2. smartcvs-win32-setup-nojre-4_0_7
3. License File
(Note - The reason being that initially tori 3 were provided with JRE. We purchased this
tool. Later the vendor came up with a new version of Smart CVS ver 4 and the previous
version expired. So we have to install the two versions.)
Provided below are the steps to install the Smart CVS.
First open the smartcvs-win32-setup-jre-tori_3 folder.
Double click on the .EXE file. Following screen will appear.

Click on Next

Click on Next

Click on Next

Click on Next

Click on Install

Click Finish.
1. This will install Smart CVS on your machine, and an icon Smart CVS tori 3 will be
placed on your desktop.
2. Select the next version i.e. smartcvs-win32-setup-nojre-4_0_7
3. Follow the same steps to install this version.
4. This will install Smart CVS on your machine, and an icon Smart CVS 4 will be placed
on your desktop.
5. Double click the icon. Select the professional version. It will ask for a license file.
License file is kept in the folder along with the installables. Select the license file and
press finish.
After installation is complete, delete the icon of Smart CVS tori 3 from your desk top. We will be
using only the Smart CVS 4.
