To
Whom
it
May
Concern:
I
write
this
letter
to
recommend
Sarah
Roth
for
an
overseas
teaching
position.
Sarah
worked
as
an
early
childhood
teacher
under
my
supervision
for
many
years
at
PS
24K
-
The
Dual
Language
School
for
International
Studies
in
Sunset
Park,
Brooklyn,
New
York.
Ms
Roth
was
a
skilled
literacy
teacher
of
young
students
in
both
English
and
Spanish.
She
used
a
balanced
literacy
model
to
engage
students
in
reading
and
writing
activities
that
created
a
love
of
reading
and
also
equipped
students
with
the
skills
they
needed.
Ms.
Roth
was
also
adept
at
teaching
of
mathematics,
social
studies
and
science
in
both
English
and
Spanish,
as
well.
Ms.
Roth
participated
as
an
effective
and
enthusiastic
collaborator
with
her
grade
level
teaching
peers
to
plan
lessons,
units
of
study,
field
trips
and
student
assessments.
Her
relationship
with
families
was
strong.
Parents
felt
comfortable
coming
to
Ms.
Roth
with
questions
and
concerns
and
she
always
had
good
participation
for
classroom
or
school-wide
family
events.
Ms.
Roth
was
among
the
strongest
teachers
that
I
supervised
as
both
an
assistant
principal
and
as
a
principal
for
more
than
twelve
years.
Please
feel
free
to
contact
me
should
you
need
more
information.
Sincerely,
