explores how the characters struggle with their identity.
Title: eg. In The Perks of Being a Wallflower, by Stephen Chbosky, Charlies friendship with Sam and
Patrick is built on their mutual struggle to create an identity for themselves.
In The Outsiders, by S.E. Hinton, Ponyboy identifies himself as an outsider after careful consideration of
