INTRODUCTION

Graphene, one of the finest materials, flexible, strong and higher conductivity
that exist, is set to revolutionize the future, from significant changes in the
mobile phone industry, telecommunications and chip manufacturing to how to
develop cancer drugs.

Graphene is considered by many as the material of the future. Composed of

carbon nanostructures could replace silicon in the manufacture of
semiconductors and revolutionize computing and electronics giant stepping in
those fields.

OBJECTIVE
Our objective is to present a new method for obtaining
graphene industry at a simple and inexpensive by analysis of
this material very interesting.

JUSTIFICATION
We chose this project because it is of great interest at the present because
graphene is considered the strongest material in the world and is 200
times stronger than steel, it also promises a transmission rate ductility left
behind silicon as raw material the computer industry.

Methods of obtaining graphene

Micro-mechanical exfoliation:

Graphene has been obtained from macroscopic parts of

graphite currently exfoliation occurs rubbing directly against
a surface graphite as if writing over itself.

Methods of obtaining graphene

Chemical vapor deposit (CVD)

It exposes a metal substrate or hydrocarbon producing a
nucleation and growth of a graphene sheet to decompose.
Through this method are synthesized monolayer graphene
sheets of structural quality but the fact of involving high
temperatures and low pressures make it a very expensive
method.

Methods of obtaining graphene

Chemical processing of graphite oxide

This involves further oxidation and exfoliation of graphite in

liquid phase being obtained graphene oxide sheet can be
reduced to obtain graphene dispersions.
The main advantage of this method is that it produces a large
amount of material in an aqueous medium, which facilitates
processing.
