Cesar Chavez
Cesar Chavez was one of the greatest world leaders. He helped farmers with better
working conditions. Besides all of his accomplishments he also had an early life and an adult
life.
Csar Chvez was born in Yuma, AZ on March 31st, 1927. It was tough for his
family because the country was going through rough things. During the Great Depression, his
family was swindled out of their home. According to Brain POP. During his childhood he had
he had to move camp from camp. Since his family moved too much, he had to move school. His
parents didnt get paid much. It didnt pay much; workers often lived in government camps
without access to clean water or bathroom. According to Brain POP. Cesar Chavez didnt get to
finish his education. Cesar Chavez left school in the eighth grade to help his family since his
dad got in an accident. According to Brain POP.

Cesar Chavez had to work on the fields of California since his family was very poor.
Chavez had a bitter experience with racism. Later on he got married and had children. Cesar
Chavez got married in 1948 to Helen Fabela. According to History.com. His kids were named
Fernando, Sylvia, Linda, Eloise, Liz, Paul, Anna, and Antony Chavez.

Cesar Chavez worked with a community of farmers that would help other farmers. He
left the community in the 1950s. Chvez founded the National Farm Workers Association in
1962. According to Biography.com. After that he would protest against agricultural foods. In
early 1968, Chavez called for a national boycott of California table grape growers. According to
Biography.com. He decided to do all these protests and boycotts because he wanted farmers with
better working conditions and getting a better pay in their salary.

In conclusion, Cesar Chavez was one of the greatest world leaders. Unfortunately, he
passed away on April 23rd , 1993.
