MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.
Martin Luther King Jr. was a great leader. He supported African-Americans people.
He charged the world by making equal rights for black and white people.
Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15,1929, in Atlanta ,Georgia. Martin lived in
Atlanta, Georgia from the time Martin was born, he knew that black and white people had
different rights. Martin did have one sister older than he and one brother youngest. Martin
education began at a very early age. He attended David T. Howard Elementary school.
In 1945, Martin at the age of fifteen, he entered Atlantas Morehouse College. Martin
considered a career in Medicine and Laws. Martin married, Coretta Scott, they got four children.
Martin start getting involved doing movement because he wanted better future for AfricanAmericans people.
Martin Luther King Jr. become a leader because he freed the black and white people from
the law that held the black and white people apartheid. Martin did make equal rights to black
people, he led the civil rights movement and helped end segregation. Martin did have a lot of
speeches but his famous speech was, I have a dream.
In conclusion, Martin Luther King Jr. fought for equal rights for all people of every
background. The reason he is so unique is because he was non-violent in his goals. Martin also
was a great speaker that spoke out for African-Americans rights. That why Martin Luther King
Jr. is a great leader and hero.
