We often disappoint those who are close to us by speaking in haste through our words

or saying unwise things. The Bible treats the tongue as being the primary factor
in all kinds of evil to the extent that it is difficult to find a sin that does not pertain to
speech in the Bible.
1) How does James 3:1-10 depict the wickedness of the tongue?

How does the text express that there is no one exempt from making
mistakes in speech?

The tongue can pollute and harm the whole person. In other words, one
misspoken word can inflict a scar on someones soul and hurt someones
