Topic Area (B)- Need For More Provinces, Administrative Necessity Or Ethnic
Pakistan as being an independent state has four provinces, and a basic need of new provinces were
felt by the people of Pakistan and the people of Hazar division came on roads on 2011, and people
of raised there voice for a new province, Province Hazara . Previously MQM raised the voice of the
separation of sindh into two parts for ethnic division which was clearly opposed by the Pakistan
Peoples Party for several reasons. Pakistan can hardly afford the administration of existing
provinces. How will a government, which is already in financial dire straits, bankroll the offices of a
new ones i-e chief minister etc .The new provinces can surely lead to the sectarian violence and
discrimination.
Pakistan Peoples Party strongly opposes the decisions of splitting the provinces because it can lead
to the sectarian violence and discrimination and can be the reason of great riots in the country.
Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party clearly stated Marsoo Marsoo Sindh Na Desso. This shows
that we are not supporting or opposing any political party but we strive for the right of the peoples
and for the betterment of the country and in maintaining the democracy.
Pakistan peoples party clearly opposed the statement presented in the National Assembly and that
can be estimated by the statement of Bilawal Bhutto The Chairman Of Pakistan Peoples Party
Marsoo Marsoo Sindh na Desso.
Pakistan Peoples Party as totally supporting the democracy and working for the benefit and
development and to avoid any sort of violence in country presents the solution.
1. No resolution should be passed for the partition of the provinces until the time of economic
stability of the country.
2. If the call for new province rises then a committee should be set to analyses the need of new
provinces and the partition should only be possible by the approval of that committee.
