sentencing of

TOMS RIVER A Toms River man, who accepted re-

Anthony Senatore,

sponsibility for the fatal shooting of his 6-year-old

neighbor by his 4-year-old son, was sentenced Thursday to three years in prison for leaving the loaded rifle
that killed the boy unsecured and accessible to the children in his home.
Before Anthony Senatore, 35, of McCormick Drive,
was sentenced for his role in the 2013 shooting death of
Brandon Holt, he told Superior Court Judge Wendel E.
Daniels that his lapse in judgment will haunt two families forever.
The events of April 8, 2013, have left a permanent
mark in the life of two families who could not have
imagined that such a horrific event would occur, Senatore said, adding that he thinks about the tragedy all
day, every day.
Although I will be sentenced this morning to a term
of imprisonment, the torment of these thoughts will occupy me throughout my existence on this earth,' Senatore said.

ter who dressed like Hitler and posted on social media a

picture of a popular gathering spot for Orthodox Jews
with the caption perfect bombing time may have
behaved offensively, but not criminally, authorities
said.
The Ocean County Prosecutors Office examined the
Twitter post and a cache of other pro-Hitler images by
the Jackson teen and her associates and concluded that
they did not amount to any credible threat.
There was never any danger being posed to the community, said Al Della Fave, a spokesman for the office.
It didnt rise to anything criminal.
He added that the one teens connection to law enforcement afforded her no special treatment even as
police remain on heightened alert for terrorism and
threats conveyed through social media.
That would not be something that would be a determining factor, Della Fave said. That has no bearing on A photo and one of the tweets reposted on Twitter.

TINTON FALLS For the second time in her life,

Roxane LaMont prepares to face what no parent
should have to experience: the burial of her child.
LaMont and her husband, Bill, will say goodbye to
their second daughter, 25-year-old Sara LaMont, who
was killed by her boyfriend in an apparent murder-suicide at Tulane University in New Orleans.
They plan to take her casket to the Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill, New York, next week and lower it a
few feet away from her sister, Sharon, who died of
Batten disease nearly 20 years ago.
I never thought I would be burying a second
child, Roxane said in a phone interview with the Asbury Park Press. Never.
In the wake of her daughters death, Roxane has
found solace in the little things. Roxanes favorite
days are snowy ones, and this weeks flurries brought
her hope that maybe Sara was watching over her from
the clouds.
I love snow, and since she was killed, it has snowed
