Vocational Calling
Calling from God to His Service
Based on desires, affirmations, and human need
Gods specific leadership, guidance, and provision in

a persons life.
Stays the same throughout a persons life, even if they
change jobs (Whelchel).
Not always a job in the church (Scheller).

Essential Skills of a Religious Leader

Being able to communicate to others.
Courage to a speak about convictions.
Being able to engage others for a common vision.
Patient and Humble
Love people in and outside of the church.
Good Listening Skills (Ten).

Leader
Passion for other people
