GILBERT SAYS ITS TOO LATE FOR GULAPTIS TO START

EXPLAINING

Country Labor candidate for Clarence, Trent Gilbert said it was a bit late for
Nationals MP Chris Gulaptis to worry that his government may be wiped out like the
Queensland government was on the weekend.
Mr Gulaptis said that politicians who cannot explain their policy positions to the
public are in the wrong game, Mr Gilbert said.
Well I agree 100 percent, and it looks like the game is up for him and his
government.
They have not explained the $3b ripped out of healthcare, they have not explained
the $1.7b worth of cuts to schools and TAFEs, and they have not explained why
country people should pay the most but benefit the least for their privatisation
agenda.
This is an arrogant government with policies that are hurting people in our
community.
The people of Clarence are frustrated with policies that are hurting people all over
the electorate. It doesnt matter how well these policies are explained, policies that
dont reflect the will of the people will always be received poorly.
Chris Gulaptis can do all the explaining he likes over the next two months it wont
change the fact that he has supported policies that are unnecessarily hurting families
and businesses all over the seat of Clarence
