Connection instructions

Pi Tank V1 (Beta)
Arduino board is connected to the Rasberry Pi by the USB port. The required
driver (Schematic) is L298N driver (Designs might wary, but in the end, they
are the same, mostly).
When soldering, use the correct equipment! Soldering pen, tin, lube materials.
Follow all safety instrucions!

Engine power
Engine power

To provide power to the motors, attach power cables:

+ side to Driver VCC
- side to GRND (Ground)
For power, You can use Li-ion (Lithium-ion) batteries, most commonly seen in RC
cars, Drones and others. As a smaller battery would not power this thing.
It might take some testing, if You search for Your engine direction. Dont worry,
just either flip the engine or reverse the wires.

In our schematic, a Step Down is used. It is required to power Rasberry Pi on

the go. It must lower it to
atleast 5V!!
Other parts are using 12V.

Power cables:
Power source comes into a splitter. All parts go to following:

USB Step Down

L298N Driver
Microsoft Kinect (For PC)

We are uncertain currently, onhow long the battery life is.

Kinect
Caution: When You attach this Kinect, You might render Your Kinect unusable in
the future! Warranty will be void and stuff.
To attach Kinect, find the splitter part. The USB part goes into Rasberry Pi. On the
cable that runs from the splitter into the wall socket, cut the wire or open the box
to get the cable. Brown = Red (positive) and the other is Ground. Attach them to
the Power cable splitter accordingly.

Caution!
We do not take any responsobility on any false actions! If You break Your things,
its on You! This schematic and usage has been used in Estonia Garage48 Tartu
2015 Hardware and Arts event and all worked fine. Do not cut Your Kinect if You
want to use it in future. Do not use higher power source, if uncertain! Do not
shoot lazers into peoples eyes, make bomb carriers or any other usage, that
might hurt anyone!
