Process Paper

For this years History Fair, the topic was on Leadership and Legacy. We jotted down all
of our ideas, yet none of them actually piqued our interests. As we pondered on the variety of
options, we started to look up more ideas on our iPhones and thought about the leader behind the
creation of our phones and most of todays technology, Steve Jobs. We then researched about him
and found out that he was a very important leader in history. We decided to choose Steve Jobs
because he had made such a huge impact that affected our whole generation and years to come.
In the beginning of our research, we had to decide which type of category to present our
information. We chose to create a website because we were able to work together on Google Drive
and transfer the information on our website easily. A website was a great idea for our topic because
we were able to take advantage of multimedia and express our topic through technology which
Jobs greatly influenced.
When we went further into our research, we went to the library and checked out the
biography book Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson and read about his experiences. We learned many
things about Jobs including the hardships that he went through to steer his company towards
success. We then found an abundant amount of websites that contained many useful information
which proved that his leadership was very important. We were also able to use interview videos
of Steve Jobs and many commercials as a visual for the different products that Jobs and his
company invented.
By adding many pictures, information, and multimedia, we were able to express and prove
our thesis on Steve Jobs leadership and legacy. He has paved the way to our generation and things
wouldnt be the way it is now without him. His leadership helped build many people and different
areas of society, such as, the business, technology, and art worlds. The products that were led by
him helped us on our History Fair project and made working easier and more efficient. Most of
todays characteristics are thanks to Steve Jobs, so we admire his great achievements, leadership,
and legacy that has built us.
