Nancy Rogers retires after 50 years of service to Ameriana

NEW CASTLE, Ind. (Sept. 26, 2014) Ameriana Bank Senior Vice President Investor Relations and
Corporate Secretary, Nancy Rogers, recently retired after a 50-year career with Ameriana Bancorp and
Ameriana Bank.
Rogers led investor relations and was responsible for maintaining all corporate records, agendas, minutes
and exhibits.
Rogers said, What a great feeling I have as I look back over the past 50 years that I have spent in my
banking career and to feel privileged to have played a very small part in making Ameriana the great
community bank we know today. From 1964 through 2014, I have been fortunate to work under the
tutelage of four great leaders of Ameriana. As I leave, I feel so privileged to have been a part of this
great banking institution and to have had the opportunity to make many lifetime friends.
Rogers joined Ameriana in 1964. She was elected as Senior Vice PresidentMarketing Services in March
1995 and served as Corporate Secretary since 1998. She also held the position of Vice President and
Director of Advertising and Public Relations. Rogers contributed to many local organizations through the
years, serving at Ball Memorial Hospital as an Aftercare Facilitator, Henry County Republican Vice
Chairman, and Board Member and 1996 President of the New Castle-Henry County Chamber of
Commerce.
