Transition Fair
The Week in Review and a
Preview of Next week

Science: This week students learned


about habitats and the food chain. Next
week they will discuss nutrition and
meal planning.

The purpose of the meeting and fair is to


provide students with disabilities and
their families information and resources
that will help ensure a positive and
successful experience transitioning to life
after Metro. Transition services include
vocational training, supported
employment, continuing and adult
education, independent living and
community participation.

Social Studies: This week students


learned about the Harlem Renaissance.
Next week they will continue to learn
about Black History Month by discussing
famous African Americans.
Math: This week identified and ordered
decimals. Next week they will be adding
and subtracting decimals via a shopping
spree.
Literacy: This week students read
Chapter 3 in Dragonwings. Next week
students will read Chapter 4.
