Dear Colleagues and students, It gives me pleasure to share with the Institute community that the new 33 kV distribution system is in process of being operational. Some sub-stations have already been charged and others are being added one by one. All members of Institute community including faculty, staff, students, families and visitors are advised to keep away from the sub-stations, overhead lines, underground cables and anything that looks suspicious. Everyone is advised specifically not to go inside the boundaries of the sub-stations and to follow instructions as appropriate. We are expecting the complete system will be operational in about two months after proper testing. Let us hope that with this facility we shall say good bye to the frequent load shedding that we are facing recently.
