| WRITING: Conversational Language Resources and Supplies Linda’s friend Maria is having her 15th birthday. This is a special birthday for Hispanic families, Itis called quinceafiera. Linda wants to make a special birthday card, Fitst, she will figure out what resources and supplies she needs. My Plan I want to use some nice, heavy paper for the card. | can get that at the art store. 1ltry to find yellow because that’s Maria’s favorite color. She loves the outdoors, and her birthday is in the fall, so I'll use some fall leaves in different colors on the front. 1" gather leaves and press them in a book so they get flat.
