The purpose of this document is to gauge who is interested and ready to invest their monies in the
proposed unit trust being discussed among the group. With the information gathered off this
document it will be possible to make an accurate plan of when we can proceed.
The initial set up must be undertaken properly in order to ensure confidence is maintained
throughout the startup process, and also to create security for the future. To do this we are
employing a Business Lawyer (TBA) to write up all the governance papers and contracts. The cost
for this will range from $5,000 - $7,000.
We have made a target of $86,000 by the end of February next year. Our plan is to pay for the
startup costs of the company and then have $80K for a 20% deposit on a house. Funds to be raised
to cover the start-up costs and initial deposit for our first house will be the first investment made
in the trust, and will be transferred to units upon commencement of trading. Any investment can
be paid over time and directly deposited into the joint account listed below, (this account has been
opened by three of us and requires two signatures to action anything, and in addition every
transaction must be completed in person).
We want to start collecting now so when it comes to crunch time we can prove to a bank that the
company is gaining funds, and has been for a six month period.
