The geological outcrops are shown in the north-west corner of the map. The beds are horizontal (0 dip)
because the geological contacts coincide with, or are parallel to, the topographic contour lines.
Using this information:
1) Complete the geological outcrops across the whole of the map area.
2) Draw a geological cross section at a 1:1 scale from A to B (note that contours are in meters).
3) Calculate the thickness of each bed and draw a vertical stratigraphic column showing each bed to scale
at 10mm = 100m (assume the Law of Superposition).
