ANCIENT PHILOSOPHY

Ancient Philosophy
Masters Program
Applications for enrollment in the 2015-16 Winter
Semester are now being accepted.
The Masters Program in Ancient Philosophy offers the
opportunity to study the entire spectrum of ancient
philosophy at one of the most renowned German
universities under the guidance of leading international
scholars. The program is a joint project of the Classics and
Philosophy
Departments
of
Ludwig-MaximiliansUniversitt in Munich and is sustained by one of the
worlds largest research communities in the field.
Seminars cover ancient Greek and Roman philosophy
of all periods, the medieval reception in Latin and
Arabic, and textual criticism.
Seminars are offered in German and in English.
Masters students enjoy intensive mentoring and the
opportunity to present their research in colloquia.
There are one and two year versions of the program.
Applications are accepted until July 1, 2015.
