TOISA MARINER GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Toisa Mariner is a 5,480 bhp DP equipped vessel with a moon pool and helideck. It has the proven and
reliable ADP 701 dynamic positioning system and is therefore predominately operated as a ROV vessel. The
DP system controls 4 thrusters and 2 main engines giving a total athwartship thrust of 25.4 tons, and ahead
thrust of 41.0 tons. The vessel therefore has excellent station keeping abilities.
The Toisa Mariner has accommodation for a total of 53 persons. This enables the vessel to accommodate the
charterers personnel and carry a full ROV spread on the clear deck.
The moon pool, located near the vessels motion centre, provides a stable base for launch/recovery of ROVs.
The two deck cranes (one 10t and one 20t), also enable over the side launching of ROVs, or can provide
assistance to a moon pool launched ROV. The vessel has proved an excellent base for ROV operations,
meeting a practical balance of size and economy.
The Toisa Mariner can also be used as a PSV, having the cargo capacities and tankage that would be expected
from any medium sized platform supply vessel.
