Remove the SIM card.

Remove your memory card.
Close the USB modem Software.
Do not switch off your computer or start any other applications until the upgrade is
complete.
The upgrade will fail if your computer goes to sleep, standby or hibernates during the
upgrade.
Dont insert or remove any USB devices until the upgrade is complete.
Dont close the tool when upgrade procedure is running, such operations maybe seriously
damage the modem permanently!
Dont use an USB hub. Please connect directly to the PC.
For Windows Vista & Windows 7, you must run the update batch as an Administrator (Right
click the tool, run as administrator), otherwise modem might be damaged if not run as an
administrator
Only one instance of the tool can be run at the same time.
Please re-insert the modem after upgrade to use.

How To Update:1. Flip the USB modem to its back.

2. Check the label as follow to know the USB modem Model

3. After you know the USB modem model open the USB Modem Software (Etisalat USB modem).
4. While Etisalat USB modem Software loading it will show its version as below:-

If the Software Version is not the same as the below so it needs update:

5. Open this URL http://etisalat.com.eg/etisalat/Etisalat_Portal_En/extra/zte.htm

6. Choose the USB modem model and press on download /

7. Press on Save and Choose where you want to save it

8. Extract Using WinRAR.

9. Open the extracted Folder.
10. Connect the USB modem with the computer correctly.
11. If Windows Vista or Windows 7 Right Click on Update Patch and Select Run As
Administrator.

12. Run the upgrade software.

If you connect your data card with the computer correctly, after 10~15 seconds, It will appear the
current version and the Update version as below:

12Press Update to begin updating the USB modem.

13. After upgrade finished, It will appear a message box to confirm the Update done successfully.
Then you can close the tool.

Warning: Never close the tool when update procedure is running or unplug the USB
modem otherwise may damage your USB modem and make it unusable.

14. Uninstall the Old Version of (Etisalat USB modem).

15. Unplug the USB modem and re-plug it again then install the New USB modem Software.
16. Open the USB Modem Software (Etisalat USB modem) and you will find it the Updated version
of the Software as below:-
