Step 1: Journal, Why Write?

I have a pair of comme des garcons culottes. I bought them on my trip to London in
September, and theyre my first piece of designer clothing bought with my own
money. Theyre completely impractical, and have an appearance that could make
the most ethereal Adonis look strange, and still whenever I put them on I have an
immediate sense of confidence and importance that only a pair of ugly pants could
give. The pants are very baggy pinstriped wool. They have a drawstring waist and
jut out right before the cuff. They cant be described well because the adjectives
that convey them are all aggressive and unflattering. These pants are important
because theyre a relic from an amazing trip that happened less than a year ago.
The trip was most certainly one of my favorites, and the pants serve as a constant
reminder of that.
