Rainbow treasure

It was a dark, gloomy Friday afternoon and I just woke up

from the nap that I took after school. I felt vital, so I decided
to make some trip, not necessarily in my vicinity. My city is
not composed of any interesting and attention worthy places,
furthermore there are so many haggard and abandoned
grounds. I called my friend Ania and gave her a proposal
about the ramble, and I told her that we can eat something at
the end. After one hour of our small “journey” we passed
new shopping mall in neighboring area. I picked up that one
shop there is still opened – thrift store. We went there to see
the items. I’m not actually a big fan of thrifting because I think
that the prices are often overstated comparing to the rips,
holes, tears, or stains on the clothes. We were looking for
something interesting there and after twenty minutes of
being there we thought that it’s right time to walk out, but
suddenly we noticed something. Woman from the store was
just unpacking and putting new things on display. Something
really colorful catched my attention- adidas sneakers. I’m a
sneakerhead and I’m keen on rare clothes brand. I
immediately found out that this is remarkable model – adidas
brand produced only few pieces. Shoes were in good
condition, so I decided to buy it. It was a little bit expensive
purchase for me, because I spent all my pocket money on it.
We continued our journey, ate some ramen, and went back to
our houses. Next day, when I woke up, I showed my buy to my
parents, they asked why I bought shoes from thrift store and
said that this is disgusting. I wasn’t also very big fan of this
model; My opinion was that they were fussy. I didn’t realize
then, that it will be the fussiest but also the most special thing
that I bought. I called Ania, she came to my house, and we
decided that I should sell it. We were looking for the resell
price and saw something really unexpected. Shoes was
worthy about 2000$, actually I didn’t know that stitched piece
of leather can be that expensive. I had to check it even more
than only by reading informations on the internet so I went to
premium brand shoes store. They confirmed words that I
found and offer me that I can put it up on their online shop. It
turned out that adidas produced only ten pairs of these for
Gucci members to use it on their show. I added shoes on
online sales shop, so many interested people texted me and
next day, one man came to reclaim it. I came up with the idea
that me and Ania can go on little “holidays” next free
weekend because we are just a students so we didn’t have
enough money to spend it on things like that. It’s funny that
this time we could buy and do so many things that we
weren’t do in the past. In this point, the story ended, it was
about my lucky find that I will remember till death. Believe it
or not, it's a real story. It’s the sign to make something
random and unplanned sometimes.
