Senior Exit Project Mentor Evaluation We have been very fortunate to have the privilege of working with Bianca Yager this, year. The Dodgeville Public Library started an outreach program with the Highland Schools in September so this gave us a wonderful opportunity to share ideas with a Highland High School student. Bianca explored the resources available through the Dodgeville Library, worked with Dodgeville High School students and discussed the need for certain types of resources in public libraries. Bianca. chose to focus on a bringing a Little Library fo the Highland Community as her Senior Exit Project. The Dodgeville Public Library currently works with the Friends of the Military Ridge State Trail maintaining three Little Libraries on the trail. We are familiar with and supportive of the concept of Little Libraries. We have spent much of our time with Bianca exploring her desire to erect a Little Free Library in the village of Highiand. We believe this is a fun, interesting, and community service oriented project. Bianca has consistently been punctual in our meetings and always arrives prepared and ready to discuss the next step in her endeavor. Together we put together a timeline of tasks that need to be completed. Bianca is always willing to explore different angles of the project including fund raising, sponsorship, maintenance, publicity, and zoning restrictions. It has been a pleasure talking with her and listening to her enthusiastic and well-formed ideas. She is not only thinking of what she would personally like in The Little Free Library but what would best serve her community, We are looking forward to seeing Bianca's project through to completion. We truly believe her Little Free Library will be a fun and educational addition to the village of Highland.
