Meeting Minutes

Call to order at 1:05pm on November 10, 2014


A meeting of Grand Haven Croquet Club Board of Directors was held at Creekside on 11/10/13.
Attendees included Cassandra Gaisor, Tony Dos Santos, Bill Todd, Naomi Mass, Rich Burns, John
Fitterman & Y vonne Croizer.

Approval of minutes
The Minutes of the October 13, 2014 Board meeting were approved.

Reports
Treasurer - Bill Todd - Opening Balance was $13,149.39 and closing balance is $12.689.75.
President - Cassandra Gaisor

With the approval of the Board, our Webmaster will be adding a memorial section to the Grand
Haven Croquet Club website.
The practice of allowing residents to join the Croquet Club without having taken lessons first
will be continued as long as the new members fill out the membership form and paid their dues.
The Board approved the donation of two bicycles to "The Big Red Box", as we did last year.
Great job at the Homecoming Event by Yvonne Croizer.

Vice President - Tony Dos Santos

By Laws - Nothing to report.


Logo Wear - Nothing to report.
Sunshine - Janet Carlson sent a sympathy card to Joan Elie on the death of her life partner Bob
Shatz. Janet also sent a get well card to Rachael Olson who had emergency surgery.
Nominating Committee - They have met and will be sending out a notice in January to the
membership as to the structure (as in the Bylaws) of the next election of officers.
Grounds & Equipment - The CDD replaced the missing clips with new magnetic clips. A new
storage box at Creekside will be used to store new and replacement equipment with access only
by either a Board member or the CDD. Greg Brown will be meeting shortly with Cassandra
Gaisor to sort out all equipment.

Director's Reports

Membership - John Fitterman - there are currently 8 potential new members

Social - Y vonne Croizer - Homecoming Party was a success with 60 members in attendance. The
next event will be the Christmas Social at Ginny Legge's home.

Tournaments - Rich Burns - The Club Championship & The Invitational Tournament as well as
the Hammock Dunes Playday are all on hold pending the resurfacing of the Creekside Court.
Brunch/Play event is being considered for some time in January or February

There being no further business, a motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting at 2:20pm.
