REMOVE ANY ANTI-VIRUS/FIREWALL SOFTWARE BEFORE INSTALLING
- If UAC is enabled, right click the fix and run it with administrative privileg

otherwise, just run it normally.
- Begin the ESET installation and just follow through.
- Allow the fix to run, do not cancel it, and ensure you stay connected to your
network.
- ESET should restart then continue updating. Once it's done, the installation i
s finished.
If this method does not work, then do the following.
- Open ESET and press F5 to enter the advanced settings menu.
- Go to "Computer" -> "HIPS", and disable HIPS and self-defense.
- Reboot, then apply the fix. Re-enable HIPS and self-defense, then reboot again
