Task description:
In this game we will play the role of dogs and the rats will be tennis balls that our
classmate will throw throughout the space before starting.
We will have to place as many balls as possible in a bucket that will be place in a
corner of the half-basketball court, during 1 minute.
The winner will be the person that places more balls in the bucket during the minute
of game.

Norms/rules:
-

We have to pick the balls one by one.

If a ball falls from your hand; it wont count towards the final accounting.

Alternatives:
-Give the person 1:30 seconds instead of 1 minute.
-Do the game per groups to see how they can work cooperatively.
-Use a bigger space.

Has already been told some time, the liking of the Victorian England by animal fights;
so much so that even after the ban on this type of "sports" in 1835 one escaped and
remained as a gambling game.
This game is known by the name of Rat-Baiting or Rat-Pits, consists of wells filled with
rats where a dog had to kill as many of them in the shortest possible time.
There were a lot of these wells of fight by all of the United Kingdom and especially in
London where every night were held these peculiar events. Attended by people from
all kinds of condition and crossing major bets.
Dogs were trained, so their bites were fast and lethally accurate, since the injured
rats were not valid, only the death ones.
As in all competitions, there were great champions. The most famous of all was Billy,
a Bull Terrier of 12 kg. Billy was the first dog killing 100 rats in less than 6 minutes.
Exactly he stopped the clock in five minutes thirty seconds, an average of 3.3
seconds per rat. The last Rat-Pit was held in 1912, then it was completely prohibited.
