In Ecclesiastes 12:1, the author writes Dont let the excitement of youth
cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow
old and no longer enjoy living. As Gods Kingdom is continuing to grow, the
value of younger generations coming to know and follow Christ should
continue to be a necessity in the church. As they go through the joys and
struggles of life, we must teach and equip youth in discipleship, evangelism,
service, and community that there is abundant life in knowing Jesus Christ.
In order to minister to a youthful generation, there needs to be a set of
leaders who are called by God and are well-equipped to perform the tasks to
appropriately and effectively adhere to the needs that are presented.
Ultimately, there should be a pastoral position in which these things stated
can become a reality within the local church. This is the reason why I am
contacting you today.
As you will see in my rsum, I have over 7 years of ministry experience and
4 years in youth ministry specifically. I am also very well educated in the
Bible and ministry from one of the most prestigious Christian Universities in
the nation. As a soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian
Ministry, I am prepared to use my gifts for the passion that God has instilled
in my life for the pursuit of His churchs growth. I look forward to speaking
