A serious accident suddenly happened to the train.

At that time, the writer was

staying in his bed and his legs were broken by the suitcases. He thought that his
world had changed when he looked out and he felt very irritated. However, when
he could get out of the carriage, he felt refreshed and comfortable. Then, he started
describing the train with a lot of damage and debris by mentioning the separation
of the mail-van, the dining-car, the sleeping car and the engine. According to his
observation, when the accident happened, the weather was very good and no one
was badly hurt except for the only German family. After that, he depicted some
conditions of the train during his trip before the accident happened.
