Kelsey is an outstanding member of the 2013 UEN/UNI Leadership Academy. As the UNI Field Supervisor for this
program, I have had the opportunity to monitor her progress and achievements as she fulfilled the requirements for
the Academy and administrative licensure.
Kelsey is a very delightful and dedicated professional. She is cooperative, and relates well with colleagues and
students. She is extremely conscientious, has demonstrated a positive attitude and the perseverance that are
requisites for leadership. Pertinent to a position of leadership, Kelsey has extensively studied change implementation
and management.
Kelsey has been as one of the outstanding young teachers in each of the districts where she has served.
Kelsey is among the top five percent of the graduate students with whom I have had the pleasure of working in the
UEN/UNI Leadership Academy for the past ten years. And on the basis of the on-site mentors evaluation of her
performance, there is little doubt that Kelsey enjoys an excellent working relationship with colleagues. She is
destined for a very successful career as an educational leader.
On the basis of her performance as a member of the 2013 Leadership Academy, and her demonstrated successful
experience as a classroom teacher, I certainly recommend Kelsey Kempf as a viable candidate for a position in
school leadership.
