Careers Assignment (Reflection)
This project was a great way to practice design skills as well as how to improve on them.
This assignment was an addition to skills that I learned in grade 9 communication technology,
however this assignment required more complex techniques such as using hierarchy and
alignment in order to make ones work better. Hierarchy required size, style and placement of
images to be appropriate if one wanted something to stand out more than the other things on the
page. In this assignment I have learned that placing pictures wherever desired does not look
good, in order to make a page look nice, the images require alignment. Aligning images makes
the work look a lot more neater. Also, getting excited with pictures and using many of them on
one page, may not look appropriate either, one thing I had to remember was that less was more.
Therefore, in this project I used skills instead of images found online to make a page look better
and more organized.
