Katy

Walker is an exceptional ASL teacher. I had the pleasure of

taking ASL 1 and 2, which she taught at Community College of
Philadelphia in 2000-2001. She inspired me to continue my
studies in ASL; I even completed graduate work at Gallaudet
University. It is due to her influence that I'm a certified
interpreter today!!

Katy asked me to write one and I was more than pleased to do
it for her because she was one of my greatest classmates at
Gallaudet University. Katy and I benefited greatly from
knowing one another. Katy has a great personality and we
shared many laughs during our time together. Katy and I
worked together on creating an e-book in which Katy was the
signer. She was a great team player and remained focused
despite the many hours we put into it. I wish Katy the b est of
luck in her future endeavors.
