Dear Parents,

My name is Erynn Hooper and I will be student teaching in Mrs. Glicks

classroom for the spring semester (January 5th May 1st.) I am in my fifth
year of studying Elementary Education with a concentration in Early
Childhood Education at the University of Wyoming.
Before attending college in Laramie, Wyoming, I was born in raised in
Littleton, attending Jefferson County Schools and graduating from Chatfield
Senior High. Colorado is very near and dear to my heart and I am very
excited to move back here for student teaching.
After this week, I will have spent two weeks in Mrs. Glicks classroom, the
first in early September. I have enjoyed getting to know each and every one
of your children. Seeing the growth from the beginning of the year to now
has been so encouraging and it has left me with great excitement to be a
part of your childs education next semester.
During my time in Mrs. Glicks classroom, I will be teaching your child in all
subject areas. Mrs. Glick and I will be collaborating together to develop
lessons. Additionally, I will be implementing several of my own lessons I
have created over the course of my teacher education; one of which will be a
four lesson humanities unit on diversity and equality.
Teaching and children has been a lifelong passion of my mine. During my
time in the classroom, your childs wellbeing and education will be my
number one priority. I want to make sure they are being challenged in each
of their unique needs as well as having fun and growing in excitement and
curiosity towards learning.
Getting to know each of the students in the time I have spent in the
classroom this semester has been so great and I am eager to see how they
continue to grow both as a young and vibrant individual and academically. I
also look forward to getting to know each of you throughout the year and
encourage you to stop in and introduce yourself.
I am looking forward to a great semester and working with you and your
child as a team, with everyone in this together.
If at any time you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to
contact me.
Sincerely,

Ms. Hooper
