It May Concern,

My name is Julie Eber, and I am writing this leuer on behalf of Erynn Hooper. It has been an
exffeme pleasure working with Erynn since the beginning of January 2}15,when she started her
student teaching at Pmk Hill Elementary. Since the moment Erynn began working with students, it was
clear she has a unique way of interacting with them and will become a successful teacher. Erynn is
organized highly motivated, optimistic and eager to leam from those around her and from herself. She
has a strong desire to reach every student and make her classroom a wafin and inviting environment for
all ofthem.
Erynn is currently working with Kindergarteners, but I can see her being successful with many
grade levels. She is a conscientious teacher as she plans specific lessons with clear objectives. During
a guided reading lesson she flows from one part to the next seamlessly. Erynn is well aware of her
students' stengths and academic levels, and differentiates her instruction to meet their needs. From the
beginning, she has connected easily with parents as they volunteer, at drop offand pick up times. The
students respect her and respond positively to her teaching.
Classroom management is a strength for Erynn. She utilizes many strategies to keep students
engaged and on task when she is teaching in large and small groups. V/ith a challenging class, she
keeps them focused by having high expectations and clear guidelines. Erynn will redirect students
without disrupting the learning of others in a polite and succinct nuurner. When it is time to transition,
she gets their attention quickly and directs them to the next activity.

In the classroom, Erynn maximizes her resources by using technology, white boards, charts and
many visuals to reach all types of learners. Children know what to do at each station or center and stay
focused while she is either with a small goup or going around to teach one on one. I highly
recommend Erynn for a teaching position at your school. She will be a valuable asset.
